Ancient Map Showing Two Lands called Cush – One in Ethiopia common mistranslation in the Bible and another that was Mesopotamia, where Babylon was! This relevant in Some of our Babylon Teaching! Babylon is just to the left of the upper Cush Circled
This shows that there was a mistranslation in many bible versions on this verse right here.
18 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia: KJV
This verse was clearly talking about Babylon, the land between the rivers in Mesopotamia, not Ethiopia. They translator got this because there was a place called Cush in Ethiopia, but the rivers Isaiah was referring to the Tigris and Euphrates, was inthe land called Cush in Mesopotamia where the First Babylon was. The translator should have left it as Cush, not Ethiopia when translating it from the Hebrew.
