Be As Gods
Now in this Genesis we see that my G-d made Free Will right out of the Gate, first thing. By having free will we can make a choice. I don’t know if your married, or gay, or what ever, and it doesn’t matter to me. I know that the woman I am with, my wife, is here with me by choice. If she does not choose to be with me, I’ll pack her bags for her. I do not want a person, who is here, without choosing to be here. She is with me on her own free . Without free will, it wouldn’t be love.
In my personal opinion, “ole slick” I’ll call him “Satan” was probably extremely seductive while deceiving Eve in the garden.
Man’s biggest downfall you think would either be sex or war. But mans true desire is power. Who is more powerful than G-d.
So in my opinion, “Slick” new this was an easy seduction also taking down Adam. And don’t you think for a minute my G-d was surprised. He was NOT surprised.
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
Now my G-d loves us, let me show you how i know. Now one would think that my G-d would have become angry here, and just wiped us out. But what does he do, G-d allows us to become heirs to him, to become sons of G-d, making us what? We’ll get to this, remember that question.
27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
we are only appointed to die once. Not more than once.
G-d understands our desire for power, our desire to be like Him….
I am going to take you to the book of John Now read this:
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Now here is where Jesus got this. Psalms
2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the , that thou visitest him?
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
He has put all things under our feet, back in Gen 3
what does Slick tell Eve here?
read this again
5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
shall be as gods, G-d was not surprised, and we know Adam also made a choice not to have eaten of the Tree of Life, Eve may have pushed the issue, but Adam made the choice.
He could not have both…..so he was removed from the Garden, He made a choice. If G-d did not want man to make the wrong choice, then he would not allowed Slick in the Garden.
Now again read Isaiah
7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
I promise G-d new where this was going.
