Why Has Thou Fosaken Me

Why Has Thou Forsaken Me

There is a very intelligent lady that Others and myself preach to on a regular basis on a web site called “Israel Today”. She is not a Jew, she has chosen at this point in her life to live under the law, and studies under the Torah, which is fine IF you are a Jew. She asked me; “if Jesus was the son of G-d, why did he turn his back on him at Calvary?

this is how I answered

First

Paul said;

1 Cor 7:18
18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.
KJV

Most of us understand that this was talking about A Jew should not become a Gentile, and a Gentile should not become a Jew.

In defending her belief that Jesus was NOT the Messiah when I was preaching Jesus, asked me a question.

Why did G-d turn His back on Jesus when he was crucified? Here is where she got this

Matt 27:46
46And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? KJV

Well what a question,

Now most of us understand that in that ninth hour that Jesus bore the sins of the World, and in that hour G-d could not look upon Him…..This is what the Church teaches and it is true…Good stuff.

But out of the mouth, see what Jesus said here

Matt 15:10-11
10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
KJV

She was trying to create doubt, with others readers following our conversation.

This has been all over me.

SO THIS is WHERE I’M GOING WITH THIS

Now anyone out there who is a Mom Or A Dad will tell you that a child at about the age of two or three, children get a little confidence, and they go through a stage called
” I can do it myself “

How many Christians are stuck here? And here is how its happens

James 2:20
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? KJV

Boy does this get messed up. Follow me here, we will get to the question of ” why G-d turned his back on Jesus? ”

Lets back up a little, FIRST James also said JUST BEFORE THAT

James 2:18
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
KJV

Faith First People

Now, your works without a completion of faith, IS WORTHLESS.

Jesus was all G-d, right?. Jesus was all Man, right?

Jesus had all the temptations that we had, for Jesus to bear the sins of all mankind, he had to defeat Satan under the circumstances that man suffered. What Jesus did on the cross would have been for nothing without what?

Faith!

When G-d turned His back on Jesus, the sin that he was bearing, the Pain that He was suffering, the rejection that He was feeling, he like man had to operate under complete what?

Faith!

When G-d turned His back on Jesus, He was completing the Faith of Jesus.
Without the completion of faith in Jesus, what Jesus was doing for us, would have been worthless.

In the ninth hour on the cross, in the absence of G-d, Jesus right then, was all man, Jesus was operating on faith alone, this trial that he was suffering would have failed without what? HIS FAITH!

If Jesus was all man, then he also had a free will. So he knows the thoughts we suffer, the questions we suffer and the doubt.

When an absence of G-d comes your way, G-d is completing your faith….Mine lasted seven years. I would pray, and get nothing, I would get mad at G-d, and get nothing, I would cry to God, and got nothing. It was the best thing that ever happened to me. You see in my case I held somebody in my life in a very high esteem, too high, So G-d allowed a division to come between me and this person, and now I was lost. So G-d jerked the rug out from under me.
How many of us fail here?

Paul said;

Rom 8:28
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
KJV

He did not say all good things, he said all things.

And doing works is not keeping the Law

Definition for: works
NT:2041
ergon–

1) business, employment, what anyone is occupied with, that which one undertakes to do, an enterprise, an undertaking

2) any product whatever, anything accomplished by hand, art, industry, or mind

3) an act, deed, thing done; the idea of working is emphasized in opposition to what is less than work

Doing works is absolutely worthless until have come to the knowledge and UNDERSTANDING of TRUE FREEDOM IN CHRIST.

When you come to a completion of faith, your every desire will be to do the works of the Father, and all good desires come from G-d. Until then, seek your faith. Does this mean I am perfect, OH NO, I still wear this flesh like anyone else, but I am made perfect in Jesus, and so are you.

You cannot and could not DO IT YOURSELF!

I can teach you all the scripture in the Bible, but it will mean nothing until revelation Knowledge comes from the Holy Spirit, Pray to G-d that the Holy Spirit will bring to you Revelation Knowledge

Remember the four steps

1. Read the scripture
2. meditate on it
3. forget about it
4. then comes Revelation

Amen?
